Chief Jon Folbrecht is a seasoned executive leader, dedicated public servant, instructor and U.S. Army Veteran. He has over 20 combined years of law enforcement, corrections, and military service. His leadership and management experience of the public and private sectors has shaped his selfless service leadership style. Chief Folbrecht has held numerous positions from Corrections Officer to Chief of Police in addition to attending several leadership courses to which he would go on to teach to future leaders.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In 1999, Chief Folbrecht enlisted in the United States Army as a Parachute Rigger until his Honorable Discharge in 2002. Throughout his career, Jon has always been solution driven and loves to solve problems for people. His ability to think outside of the box and excel in chaotic situations has prepared him for the corporate world.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He has 20 years of digital marketing and graphic design experience. His designs and marketing strategies have been recognized on the national level with one design generating over $400,000 for the families of the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots-Prescott Fire Fighters killed in the line of duty on June 30, 2013.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Chief Folbrecht has been an Adjunct Instructor at the Indian River State College Criminal Justice Institute since 2013. He has several instructor certifications and continues to teach courses regularly. He has volunteered and helped several non-profit organizations throughout his career. His passion for giving back to his community and helping others has been a driving force throughout his career.<\/p>\n

He is an active member of the Okeechobee Masonic Lodge #237 F&AM, Past-Alternate Member of the Okeechobee City Planning Board, Board of Adjustment & Design Board, Past President of Martha\u2019s House.<\/p>\n

Chief Folbrecht currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for the\u00a0University of Miami, Herbert School of Business for Police\u00a0and Law Enforcement\u00a0Opioid and Readiness Awareness.<\/p>\n

Chief Folbrecht founded Savage Recon and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He is a licensed Florida Private Investigator.\u00a0<\/p>\n
